Top scorers meet the DPM

Kuala Lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin met with the top students in last year's Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations at an awards ceremony for SPM 2010 high-achievers at the Malaysian Examinations Syndicate office in Jalan Duta here.
The event yesterday honoured 41 students who received excellent results in SPM 2010.
The 41 included the top 30 high achievers, seven top scorers in the special needs category and four high achievers from sports schools.
Muhyiddin, who is also Education Minister, said he hoped the students would continue doing well.
He also presented a plaque to overall top scorer Muhammad Putera Farid Iskandar, who scored 10A+.
